Hey everyone. A real quick post today.
Tomorrow sees the first Raspberry Jam, an event taking place in London to allow users and would-be users of the Raspberry Pi device to get together, share ideas and talk geek.
Quick reminder of what Raspberry Pi actually is. It’s a tiny, credit-card sized, open-source computer that’s designed to be accessible to kids, both in terms of programming and price, as it’s only $25.
This particular device has my attention as it coincides with the UK’s alteration of the National Curriculum, which allows secondary schools more freedom, allowing them to introduce programming to students at a much younger age. The Raspberry Pi is the perfect way to do so.
Expect more information and plenty of pictures tomorrow. Maybe I’ll see you there?
