Well, it’s been a while. Sorry about that. Thing is, shit’s been busy and to top it off, I’m on holiday now for 2 weeks. I do promise to update this blog more often though. Now most of my students are doing revision, my marking workload has somewhat tailed off. This means I’ll able to post more.
HOORAY!
But not for 2 weeks.

I don’t have too much to say on the topic. I like the idea of an awards ceremony for games and I’ve attended several events held by BAFTA which leads me to believe their interest and commitment to games is genuine.

Sunny Side Up – If GAME Fall Down, Who (or What) Will Rise?

Where one falls another grows. Could GAME’s meltdown breathe new life into selling games?

It’s looking increasingly likely that GAME will soon cease to exist in its current state. Whilst that’s clearly sad for those of us that give a toss about games, do note that I said ‘in its current state’. You see, I was always told there’s a silver lining to every cloud. So I want to have a look at the possible positives that could come out of this nasty business.

Mass Effect 3 DLC “It’s on the Disc” – Why This Doesn’t Matter, How You’ve Agreed To This Already and Why it Needs to Stop

Recent Day-One DLC and ‘On Disc’ DLC has caused some people to feel a little upset. Rightly so in most cases. What I’m going to explain to people is their arguement of ‘It’s on the disc’ is unhelpful and needs to stop. The practice itself could also do with dying.
